Featured Post From StockTwits About BABA

$BABA After looking at the charts a bit more, I'm very confident that it's a symmetrical wedge pattern and not an ABC corrective pattern, and that it will be green at the end of HK's next trading session, which may cause it to gap up for us on Monday.

HK ended their trading day right on the edge of their wedge, and we ended ours at the edge of ours, so the starting points are the same.

Sadly this means that just under $231 at the end of today was likely the lowest price to get in at before it runs up to the top of the wedge again.

I got in right there at the end of the day but like many others, paper handed and sold after hours because almost every time I hold this over night I get burned.

So good luck to you who are holding. I'll be buying back in at Monday's higher price and hopefully the shitshow rollercoaster that is this stock will finally hold its price.

I hope I'm wrong because I'd love to load up in the 220's again.

Other Notable StockTweets About BABA

eMarketer: In FY020, China was the only major economy to produce economic growth. It’s not surprising, then, that it was also the only major national market to see an increase in total media ad spending. Girded by this economic strength, China’s digital ad market hardly missed a beat, growing by 16.2% y/y in FY20.

Digital ad spend in FY21 to rise by 17.5% y/y to reach RMB 728.74B ($105.58B).

In FY21, driven by China’s macroeconomic reacceleration, total media ad spend will bounce back with 13.6% y/y growth, a rate closer to the pre-pandemic norm for China. Total media ad outlays should reach RMB 930.55B ($134.82B) in FY21.

$BABA Crazy weekly gap up last week after breaking down below the long term trend support. MACD slowly curling up, so I think we will continue to see some chop as it bases around long term support. I will not be trading weekly options here evening though I think the gap will get closed at some point.
