$DMRC .Read the script again…and came away even more excited about the future. RM is no nonsense type of guy. 😊 Not sure what the stock does in the short run butI 4 months of 2021 is now gone and the shorts have to worry about three specific events that will attract more buyers…at least eventually.EquiStar, published April 29, 2021
1.) a big analyst day-re-engaging wall street, meaning more eyes will start to look at this again-stock needs buyers. there was a lot of distrust on wall street about Bruce. this is now gone!
2.) HG 2.0 announcement----before August . How and what they plan for promotion/marketing I have no idea but you can bet it will be much bigger than in the past.
3.) Triple digit bookings/growth- more shoes will drop and it should have a big impact on the cash burn. ....and will attract buyers. We have the right leader now and the right offering that will help save the planet.
One more inference on call-data analytics! watch out

$WMT you'd be thick not to hold through the upcoming ER. Last ER, Doug gave low bar projections and they usually beat anyways. The chance of a good beat is very high and an excellent beat high given the strong retail numbers + stimulus. The only risk is margins may be lower due to higher fulfilment costs from shipping straight to homes, but that rarely matters when a company is transitioning to business growth. TLDR, I'm buying more and holding through ER for a rocket ship to Mars.DopamineHit, published April 24, 2021
$WMT "Impressively, Walmart is optimistic about Cruise’s unique business model, impressive technology and driverless testing. Along with this, both parties are committed toward a zero emissions future. Markedly, Cruise operates a fleet of all-electric vehicles that are powered with 100% renewable energy. Well, management expects its alliance with Cruise to help Walmart in creating an efficient, affordable and scalable delivery ecosystem.
Recently, Walmart announced that by the end of fiscal 2022 it anticipates two-thirds of its U.S. hourly store roles to become full-time. This goes in tandem with the company’s commitment to accelerate its pickup and delivery game. Also, Walmart follows a full-time staffing approach in its distribution and fulfillment centers, wherein more than 80% of current associates work full-time.
$WMT autonomous vehicle investment, digital banking investment, Flipkart IPO, Walmart+ growing. Lots of potential catalyst. This is expanding a lot, just the high P/E ratio is a red flag
Company must grow rapidly to justify the high p/e ratio. Why should I buy this over Target and Best buy?
On October 30, 2020, Meyer Malka (owner of Ribbit Capital) purchased 1 million shares of $ROOT at $27. On December 30, 2020 he doubled down and purchased an additional 753,976 shares at $16.55. According to SEC filings, Malka owns more than 10% of $ROOT shares (source: https://www.secform4.com/insider-trading/1788882.htm)
A few days later, on January 11, 2021, Walmart announced the creation of new fintech startup and partnership "with industry leader Ribbit Capital to offer next generation digital financial products" and that Meyer Malka will be on the board. Walmart anticipates that growth may come through partnerships and acquisitions with leading fintech companies (source: https://corporate.walmart.com/newsroom/2021/01/11/walmart-announces-creation-of-new-fintech-startup).
Costco sells home and car insurance on its website. Walmart tried in 2014 but it never panned out with their partner at the time (source https://www.insurancebusinessmag.com/us/news/programs/walmart-enters-auto-insurance-market-18024.aspx)
Walmart's clientele is the perfect demographic for $ROOT insurance. My guess is that a partnership with $WMT and $ROOT is in the works.
