As of December 31, 2018, it operated 193 stores, which include cash and carry, and wholesale stores; and 100 hypermarkets, 50 supermarkets, and 120 proximity stores. The company also provides consumer loans, as well as other products, such as insurance policies. Atacadão S.A. was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
