$WKHS I find it interesting the timing of Hughes departure as the company gets into mass production phase. I think it is very similar to Burns stepping aside from $RIDE and was somewhat coordinated and well thought out.

Hitachi and Nissan are two very well connected companies and Nissan’s visit to Lordstown makes me wonder if Hitachi was the headhunter to get Dauch. GM of course could be involved as well as his father was a legend at GM. Dauch’s other son leads $AXL currently and GM accounts for 80% of the business they bring in. Another thing I found was that the original Dauch was known for transforming old GM plants back to viable and profitable plants again. He was born in Ohio and the leader of AXL went to school at Miami of Ohio.

I really believe the new CEO was brought into lead both LMC and Workhorse and spin-off the drone unit for funds for the ramp up. We will soon find out if I’m correct.
