$BITF I mean if all companies can do offerings whenever they want if a shelf offering is just announcing that at some point in the next X years you plan to do an offering why even announce it at all, all it does is create uncertainty. If they are the 3rd highest mining company in the world and the only eco-friendly miner, I don't really see what this PR even accomplishes. I mean so what? Like, you're a traded company. Stock is how you raise money from investors. You don't need to tell us that "oh we may issue more stock that equates to half our market cap sometime in the next 20 years..." - you just do it or don't talk about it. IMO. If I was the CEO, I'd just stay mum unless you do it. I am not aware of any regulation that says the SEC requires a company to announce it's "thinking about something" - the SEC only requires companies to report on what they do.
