The thesis remains the same- Studios, Actors/Actresses, and the Production Crew will see a decline in revenue with the release of movies on streaming apps.
The problem is PIRACY.

Whenever the movie is released it immediately gets pirated and that money does not go to the studios, theaters and production crew.

$DIS is shooting itself in the foot. Same with WB. A large majority of movies are meant to be seen on the big screen. It destroys the experience watching it at home.

Movies cost 100s of millions to produce and a large fraction of the production crews wages are tied to box office revenues.

They very likely WILL go back to the exclusive theatrical release window by the end of 2021. It's now starting to pinch studios and they know it. The Scarlett Johanssen law suit is the first of many.
