If I could go back in time and unbuy this stock, I would. I love that this is an industry that puts a lot of Americans to work and gives us near energy independence. But Oil is a dirty, risky business that I have mixed feelings about being part of. If I this stock for a loss, it isn’t necessarily going to fix the environment problems that fossil fuels create. So I’ll hang on to I get green, And I’d be a hypocrite for claiming not to be a part of the problem as much as anyone else with natural gas heating at my house and 3 ICE vehicles in our driveway. I’m posting some basic info on oil for folks to see the utter dependency we have on this industry in the US and how critical the Permian basin exploration has become.
