$RKT $UWMC $LDI For some clarification... the US all time home sales record was in the late 60s when the interest rates were over 13-18%. Since then the US has never sold even half the amount of homes as they did in just a few years. We would have come close to it had we had this year and next with sales as strong as they were in 2020. So what does this mean when we are averaging just 3.25%... ignore the rates and the noise... people will buy regardless and the desire to buy a home has never been higher. Pay attention to the demand not the noise... if people will keep buying... that's all that matters. Soon the 'Shadow Inventory' will be available once moratoriums end. When that happens you'll see a frenzy of purchases and a rapid turn over of homes (meaning bought to flip and sell so... basically 3 transactions instead of 1) and then new sales. Then likely companies will cash out their investment purchases afterwards. Hold long... hold strong!
