$MVST not to anger the anti squeeze haters here but these are my two cents. Every square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square. Not every stock setup for a short/gamma squeezer will squeeze (in fact the vast majority wont), but every squeeze was setup well. People are just saying the setup is good (and quite good comparatively). High call interest with a low SP from historical levels, high growth stock with good chances of meeting targets, good governmental and worldwide tailwinds (from ev sector), strong R+D and balance sheets, people rapidly finding out about it in a short time frame, no/low shares to short and high borrow fee. Probably the worst part is that shares shorted as a % of the float is only around 5-10% depending on how you define float (although VW had very few shares actually shorted). The thing is even without a squeeze these are all great factors for a rapid rise in share price.
