Wipro to acquire Capco for $1.45 billionWipro Ltd. an India-based global IT, consulting and business process services company, said Thursday it has reached an agreement to acquire Capco, a London-based technology and management consulting firm in a deal valued at $1.45 billion. The deal will make Wipro one of the biggest providers to the financial services industry, the company said in a statement. It is expected to close in the June 30 quarter.
