Alleghany Corporation ("Alleghany") (NYSE-Y) today announced that it has priced its public offering of $500 million of 3.250% Senior Notes due 2051 (the "Senior Notes"). The Senior Notes were priced at 98.639% of par. BMO Capital Markets Corp., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the Senior Notes offering, which is expected to close on August 13, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.
