Understanding Honeywell’s Newly Added Risk Factors

Honeywell International (HON) is an American multinational conglomerate. Its products and services are used in various industries, including aerospace and automotive. It also provides building technologies.   For Q4 2021, Honeywell reported a 3% year-over-year drop in revenue to $8.7 billion from $8.9 billion but still met the consensus estimate. The company cited supply-related constraints and lower mask sales compared to the year-ago period as the causes of the decline in revenue. It posted adjusted EPS of $2.09, which rose from $2.07 in the same quarter the previous year and beat the consensus estimate of $2.08. Honeywell plans to distribute a quarterly cash dividend of $0.98 per share on March 11.

Honeywell, TotalEnergies Partner to Promote Advanced Plastic Recycling

French energy firm TotalEnergies SE (NYSE: TTE) and Honeywell International, Inc. (NASDAQ: HON) have signed an agreement to promote the development of advanced plastic recycling. As per the terms of the agreement, Honeywell will use its UpCycle Process Technology to supply Recycled Polymer Feedstock (RPF) to TotalEnergies. TTE will convert this raw material into virgin-quality polymers for use in high demanding applications like food-grade packaging. Honeywell will use the UpCycle Process Technology to make RPF at its soon-to-be-built advanced recycling plant in Andalucía, Spain. The North Carolina-based company plans to build the plant in a joint venture with Spanish infrastructure operator and developer Sacyr (SYRVF).
