Planet Fitness Inc. said Thursday it had net income of $5.7 million, or 7 cents a share, for the fourth quarter, down from $8.7 million, or 11 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. Adjusted per-share earnings came to 26 cents, matching the FactSet consensus. Revenue rose 37.3% to $183.6 million, ahead of the $178.0 million FactSet consensus. "To date in the first quarter of 2022, we ended January with 15.6 million members surpassing our pre-pandemic first quarter 2020 membership peak," Chief Executive Chris Rondeau said in a statement.
