Brazil's BRF upbeat on Q4 domestic sales, chicken exports outlookBrazilian food processor BRF SA is optimistic with the outlook for sales during the final quarter of 2023 based on the strength of its well-known brands Sadia and Perdigao, management said on Tuesday, referring the company's main market Brazil. "Operations in Brazil are improving, with EBITDA margins rebounding by 220 bps to 12%," Banco Santander wrote in a note to clients. During a call to discuss third quarter results with analysts, BRF CEO Miguel Gularte said that prospects for chicken prices in exports market are already improving, with increases of up to $350 per metric ton depending on destination. |

Brazil food processor BRF widens net loss in Q3 on grain prices, chicken glutSAO PAULO (Reuters) -BRF SA, the Brazilian pork and poultry processor, widened its third-quarter loss from the year-ago period as it continued to deal with a chicken oversupply while also trying to rein in grain prices, it said on Monday. Despite the hit, BRF said improvements in the company's operating performance were already showing results. "This quarter, the drop in the cost of grains begins to impact the company's results as we had predicted," said CEO Miguel Gularte in a statement accompanying the results. |

Brazil's BRF bullish on outlook for Christmas food salesBRF SA, one of Brazil's biggest food companies, is bullish on its sales prospects ahead of the holiday season, a company executive said at a press conference on Monday. Marcel Sacco, vice president of marketing, said the company projects 5% to 6% growth in Christmas sales revenue from a year ago, citing improvements in the local economy and a broad range of product offerings.
