B), a leading music, media and technology company, and Rogers Communications, today announced the expansion of their distribution deal to give Rogers Ignite TVTM customers access to Qello Concerts by Stingray and Stingray Karaoke. “Stingray is committed to delivering new entertainment platforms for music fans,” said Mathieu Péloquin, Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Communications of Stingray. “We are excited to grow our partnership with Stingray and give Ignite TV customers access to even more curated music content across multiple channels,” said Eric Bruno, SVP – 5G, Content and Connected Home Products.
Rogers Communications announced today it has started hiring for its new B.C. customer solution centre in Kelowna, bringing 350 new jobs into the local economy by 2021. Rogers and Jays Care Foundation Step Up to the Plate for Food Banks Canada, with 8 Million Meals at Rogers Centre
The home of the Blue Jays is set to become the temporary home to 10 million pounds of food, as Rogers and Jays Care Foundation support Food Banks Canada with the new initiative Step Up to the Plate. With food banks continuing to battle food donation shortages and significant drops in volunteers, Rogers Centre will house 6,000 pallets of food that will be sorted into food hampers on the field and delivered across the country to families in need. Each hamper will be filled with a variety of non-perishable food items, providing one individual with a week’s worth of food.
Rogers announced that its personalized mobile retail experience, Rogers Pro On-the-Go™, is now available in the nation’s capital. As restrictions in the province start to ease, and businesses pivot to meet the needs of Canadians in the new normal, Rogers has accelerated the expansion of Pro On-the-Go™ to give customers in Ottawa another way to get a new phone in as little as hours and expert support to set it up, at no extra cost. The service, available only at Rogers, has begun rolling out to Ottawa neighbourhoods and will expand throughout the nation’s capital in the coming weeks.
