6 Sizzling Growth Stocks

NYSE: BABA | Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. ADR News, Ratings, and Charts

BABA – BABA and COUP are just 2 of the impressive growth, value and momentum stories you need to discover now.

Earnings season is looking better.

China trade is looking better.

Voila! The overall market is looking better.

The sum total of this good news has the market within 1% of the all time highs. This increase in optimism is also met with an increase in risk taking…which is why I present to you this list of growth stocks today.

Remember that investors are starting to look beyond the tight circle of defensive large cap income stocks to more Risk On names that have a chance to outperform. That is why my focus today is on some of the healthiest growth stocks that have a real chance to outperform in the weeks and months ahead.

The most notable of these 6 sizzling growth stocks is Alibaba (BABA). This is a “must own” stock for investors who want to replicate the success enjoyed with the US based FANG stocks the last several years.

BABA delivers both an impressive earnings growth outlook of 27% a year…but also is considered to be 31%  below its fair value target set by Wall Street analysts.

Those looking for a timely entry point into Alibaba will be happy right now. That’s because shares made it to almost $180 a week ago before a round of profit taking has it now breaking under $170 now.

(This is why I recently added shares of BABA to the Reitmeister Total Return portfolio).

Another impressive name on this list worth noting is Coupa Software (COUP). This cloud based business spending platform company keeps knocking it out of the park with one earnings beat after the next. That is why it sits atop our list with the most impressive earnings growth rate of 37%.

Oh…but there is more to this exciting tech company than robust growth.

COUP has sold off 20% the last few months as investors had a smaller risk appetite. So even though earnings growth continues…and fair value increases…shares have still pulled back from the highs.

This spells a hearty value opportunity with 30% upside to the average fair value target. However, that is only the average target. The 5 Star analysts from both SunTrust and Oppenheimer believe that $170 is the rightful destination for Coupa Software. That actually equates to 40% upside potential for COUP shares.

Below is the full list of stocks. Each spilling over with growth potential. Each well under their fair value target. And each sporting a POWR Rating of A or B proving that momentum is on their side as well.

Feel free to dig into this list of great growth stocks below. And then click on the ticker for each to research more in depth on all 4 components of the POWR Rating to appreciate its full attractiveness at this time.
