The investment objective of the ALPS Alerian Energy Infrastructure ETF seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of its underlying index, the Alerian Energy Infrastructure Index. The Alerian Energy Infrastructure ETF delivers exposure to the Alerian Energy Infrastructure Index, a composite of North American energy infrastructure companies engaged in the pipeline transportation, storage, and processing of energy commodities. Index constituents belong to one of the four categories: US energy infrastructure MLPs (25%), US general partners (25%), US energy infrastructure companies (25%), and Canadian energy infrastructure companies (25%).
